Edwards and Gary O'Neil Included in Wolves Head Coach Contenders

Rob Edwards and O'Neil represent the early candidates in the frame to replace Vitor Pereira as head coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Pereira was sacked on the weekend after the squad's ten-game without a victory beginning to the top-flight campaign.
Furthermore Edwards and O'Neil - each of whom have historic associations to the team - are part of the names to be considered by the club leadership.
The manager is currently at Middlesbrough, which would pose a potential obstacle to his hiring at Molineux.
Nevertheless the former Luton Town manager - who made over a century of games for Wolves during his time as a player - is said to be a strong contender for the vacancy.
The 42-year-old is reportedly enjoys support from the Wolves board as they start the search of appointing a new head coach.
Gary O'Neil is also emerging as a surprise contender, although he would be a shock appointment considering he was released by Wolves in the previous winter.
The former West Ham United player is out of work which means Wolves would not need to provide any buyout fee.
