He additionally honored Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I remember you." He concluded with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Fellow Artist

In a distinct essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved being with Rob. We had a innate rapport for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Rogan concluded by suggesting that an adviser could have acted when the decision to speak on the passing was made.
